I've gotten two of my listings disabled due to violating Creativity Standards, although all my items are handmade from raw materials, I am the only worker in my shop, I take my own photos and videos, etc. I know this is probably happening from people stealing my photos, which I try to police but it is too much for one person to do, and there are too many websites for me to check on.
Whenever I escalate my help tickets with Etsy, all I get are bot responses that there is nothing they can do and that if this continues, they will eventually suspend my account. Is there an Etsy admin who could help me get a real person to look at my listings? I have tried to also send video proof of me making my items to my help tickets, but all I get are bot responses. I could really use some guidance here.
@Videnda LOL I was literally reading through this thread when you tagged me.
First, get an agent or a service to do the photo hunting work for you. You can also try this extension: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/search-by-image/cnojnbdhbhnkbcieeekonklommdnndci?hl=en if trying to track down a cop[y of one specific image.
I honestly think I have already said everything that can be said on this topic for now. Copying what I wrote in response to a comment on my LinkedIn article today:
1) Keep trying with Support/Trust and Safety. I was rejected the first 5 times. Chat or phone may help more on average.
2) Go public - tag Etsy on a post about this on social networks etc. Some people got help after filing a complaint with the BBB, for some reason.
3) Go to the media - feel free to use my article, and highlight the other sellers affected as well.
4) Get legal help. This group may be able to help or refer you to someone: https://talarts.org/
Good luck!
seems to be a thing with jewerly. I'm sorry you are dealing with it.
