I am so frustrated.
I just reopened a shop 2 weeks ago, that I had for years but closed it over a year ago while we moved to another state. Within a few days of reopening it, I can't login and get a message the security team limited access for my protection and I should contact them.
I contacted them through etsy site but had to use a different email address to login but I made it clear for which email I was contacting them for. I received an email with security questions so they can verify me and I did. This was several days ago.
I hear nothing from them, but they gave me a link to check my status but it's under the inaccessible email login, so I can't.
This has been going on for almost 2 weeks now. I was told by etsy customer support for sellers the security team only uses emails and there is no way to call them.
I just don't know how to regain access to my shop and I have a balance due to me that has not been deposited.
I feel for you! The same exact thing has happened to me. I opened an English Paper Piecing supply shop and after 3 weeks, my account was temporarily suspended.
Luckily I had sent out all my orders that day. I opened a support ticket and was told they suspected a suspicious login and limited my account. I replied answering all the security questions on 9/23.
I've been responding to the original email every other day to let them know I still need help so they don't close the ticket. I put so much time into creating this shop, and was a day away from receiving a $1300 deposit.
It's so upsetting. I wish I could be given some type of timeline of when I might receive help.
Hi,
it is terrible what they are doing, keeping us waiting and not telling us anything. I have a large balance due to me and they are not depositing it.
I call customer service but they tell me they do not handle this the security team does and they only correspond through email. I am so frustrated and annoyed at how Etsy is handling this.
Hi, My friend is going through the same issue and didn't get a reply from Etsy after a while. I saw that your shop is back, do you have any advice? and what's your process?
Thank you!
