This is the second or third time that Etsy has halted my account for trying to take $20+ from my bank without a warning, this also happens to be the second or third time it happened AS SOON AS I GAINED MY STAR SELLER. I’m convinced at this point the star seller badge is something I’m not allowed to keep! I am moving money and there was no warning before they deactivated my account!
Then once I reactivate my account, they took my badge for the SECOND OR THIRD TIME. I’m about to leave this is so wrong! Stressed me out way too much, it happened on my birthday! Oh and to top it off: the app doesn’t even warn you, it just logs you out. No “Your account has been deactivated” or “Hey, don’t forget! You need to pay $ or your account will be deactivated in 24hrs” So I didn’t even know until the next day when I was curious why it was silent! STOP TAKING BADGES WHEN YOU MAKE IT HARD TO SELL WITHOUT ADVERTISING AND THE BADGES. I work so hard for the badge only for some ‘freak’ coincidence to happen for the third time in a row!
At least give people time! You affect their lives when you deactivate their account by trying to take large sums/not on autopay. You don’t even give people the chance to figure it out before you close down their shop and take their badges. I loved Etsy but now I’m thinking of other options.
Your shop is not closed, The badge part may have something to do with infringements, in which case they will not be returned to you unless changes are made and then it will take a long time. The next step is shop closure if no changes are made.
You're using Disney trademarks - the word Disney. Not legal in any sense. They also own a trademark on the shape of Mickey's ears.
Animal Kingdom is also trademarked
It's not clear from your ramble what actually happened. Did you have a bill due and Etsy tried to debit your bill payment card? Was there a problem with the card? Did they then suspend your account due to non-payment of the bill? Did you fix the problem with your payment card but then find you are not eligible for star seller due to the violation still on your account? If you have a violation like that then I'm not sure it's reversible which is why it's important to make sure the billing card on file is valid at all times.
