PDF shipping labels generated in Etsy have a poor print quality on my thermal printer. The characters are very light and small stripes of no black are visible in the characters. My PDF labels printed from ebay and USPS are very dark with no artifacts. I assume this is the font Etsy is using. Any ideas on how to correct it?

Play with the print settings for your thermal printer.
That's what I did, till I got a result the looked decent.
What settings? Mine is doing the same thing.
play with the print settings in your print dialog box before printing on the thermal printer.
I have to keep changing mine every time I print. the same settings don't seem to work the next time I print
Hopefully we can get some answers. When I use Pirate Ship it's fine. When I buy the Etsy label and click download and then open the download and the print from there the quality is okay. When I buy the label from Etsy and click print the quality is unusable.
I'm having problems with printing Etsy shipping labels from my thermal printer. The prompt I get when choosing to print the label is not the same one I have been getting for several years. The print out does not fit the size of the paper. It's too small and the quality is very poor. You can hardly read the name and address on the label. I can't seem to find a way to correct this on my own. Any ideas? Did Etsy initiate these changes?
Thank you for your help
I was having the same issues until I cleaned the printers rollers.
I print about 40 Etsy label each week and have never had a print quality issue. The ink comes out black, no streaks or craziness - just normal labels, 2 on each page. I have used several different brands of home printers over the years - nothing unusual, just home office printers. Have to say that printing Etsy labels (and Etsy labels in general) are things I never have to worry about. So perhaps this is an equipment issue.
What kind of thermal printer are you using?
