Etsy app endless reCAPTCHA

I've got a new phone and I'm trying to log in to my etsy and etsy seller apps, but it's not letting me. I'm just being present with endless RECAPTCHAs. After a few it'll just go back to the I'm not a robot tick box again but it's unticked.  I've logged in on the phone Google browser fine. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the apps. I'm tearing my hair out and i don't know how to fix it!

STOP using that app and just log into your shop via a browser window on your device.. You see a lot more info and can do more. Try the app another day-- I find it glitchy most days.

@megburchell  Hi, I don't use the App (never have); I use a desktop computer, Chrome. Once in a while, I get the CAPTCHA Prompt when Signing In (it happened today). When the prompt comes up, I do CTRL + F5 (Hard Refresh).  Then I can get in. A while ago, someone on the Forum suggested this, and it was very helpful. I hope it will help you.

Solutions for desktop won't work as I'm trying to log in via the apps.

@megburchell  Looks like I spoke to soon. For the first time in a very long time, the Hard Refresh did not work for me. I was stuck on the CAPTCHA (crosswalks, cars and bikes). Several grainy photos at that; I had to get up close to my large screen on the desktop computer. Etsy is definitely tinkering around with something.

It’s glitchy…i sometimes get it on my desktop mac and it can show images even up to ten or more times (gahhhh) maybe try at another time or different browser x

I just had this happen logging in on my other Mac desktop. After about 10 or so times I then had to get the text code... The app does suck but its an Etsy thing, not an app thing.

I use the app but I switch my phone to 

Request Desktop mode 

this allows me to edit everything

I had to sign into the buying app and got the never ending reCAPTCHA and though why am I having to do this. Never have before and I thought oh just another Etsy glitch. Something is always messed up. Finally got through it all though.
