Etsy Seller App - Sections

Maybe im just not seeing it, but I cannot find how to choose or change my shop section on a listing in the new Etsy seller app. If I want to edit an existing listing or activate a draft im definitely not see a section option. Same with if I copy a listing. If I create a new listing I see the option but it says "add your first section" instead of showing me my list of sections I already have. This is a critical part of listing for me so I can keep my shop organized. Am I missing something or is this option no longer available? Any help is much appreciated!

hmm. I have no issues with sections on the browser version of the website, or the old app. Its just the new etsy seller app, i dont see an option for section anywhere.

@RetroChildren you're right, I'm not seeing the option to edit the section when editing a listing on the the blue Seller App.  However. While editing a listing, if you scroll to the very bottom, it says something like "Hold tight! Not all editing features are available yet." And there is a button to tap "continue on Etsy.com"  - and then it brings up the same listing in edit mode, and you'll see the section option there.

ooh interesting! Thank you, ill give it a try! I hope they add the option soon. I see its updated a few times already since ive been trying it out, and is getting better with each update

oh darn i just gave it a try and its showing the "add your first section" thing there instead of my list of sections so that wont work either. Im hoping to delete the old app but i dont want to yet until the new one has all the same features I like to use

So here we are in 2024, and still no option to create a shop section on the app (iPhone) but you can rename or delete a section tho.

need a computer (browser) still.

I’ve found the answer but it’s complicated. 
Make sure you’re logged into your seller account. 
Open Etsy.com on another browser. 
Click on your profile picture top right. Scroll down and click on Settings. 
At the bottom it says ‘Want to fine tune your account settings?’ 
Click on this link. 
It takes you to Your Account. Click on menu on left hand side. 
Find Listings and click on link. 
Click on the product you want to create a shop section for. 
Scroll down through all sections until you get to option to add a new section. 
This has taken me 2 weeks to suss this out
