Etsy Reporting Portal not working

Hi there,

I'm trying to report an infringement since a few days but the Etsy Reporting Portal seems to have a bug. When I try to select something, it doesn't check the box but says "X reports/properties/etc. selected". When I click on the same checkbox more than one time it counts upwards (even if clicking the same listing again and again which shouldn't even be possible). And when I click it just one time and try to add it to the report, I get an error message saying "Hm, looks like something went wrong. Try adding your listings again."

Is anyone else having this problem? I tried 3 different browsers - but it's the same for all. I had no problems reporting infringements in the past.

Re: Etsy Reporting Portal not working

OP, FYI if you are wanting to report someone for taking any design that AI derived...

you can't copyright or claim any IP. The US Copyright office so ruled a few years ago.

anyone can take any design that is AI and use it. You have zero ownership.

A design that won an award was refused protection due to 'insufficient' human effort. I don't think that policy has changed...

Re: Etsy Reporting Portal not working

OMG, YESS!! I've been getting SO frustrated, spending hours trying to report a bunch of my stolen designs from 2 newer shops I noticed the other day that popped up with my EXACT designs and photos (and people are actually buying from them since they undercut my prices ), but every time I try to select the listing to add to the report I get the EXACT same error you've been getting. I was starting to go crazy looking through forums all night last night and today to see if anyone else reported the same thing lol, so was happy to see your post just now and know I'm not the only one. I contacted Etsy support about the issue last night, but after just checking, have still not gotten a response. If you find or figure anything out about this PLEASE keep us updated, this has been so infuriating!

@DarlingDecorsAndMore   If you photos were stolen you can report the items through the DMCA.  If this is copyright then the other seller will have the right to counter claim.

Use a browser and not the app.  Clean out cache and cookies.

However  if you are using ready made graphics and fonts, you may want to consult the Copyright Office to see if your items are eligible to be registered.  Graphic work is one of those gray areas that an expert needs to weigh in on.  What Visual and Graphic Artists Should Know about Copyright | U.S. Copyright Office

Its not functioning for me either. It's like pulling teeth to report stolen IP. Esty - is there a fix?

It is happening to me too. Wanted to report a listing that used my design and it doesn´t let me add the listing to the report.
