Hello Dear Community,I tried to send thank you messages to my customers as a seller, after sending about 13 different people,it said like this
"AN ERROR HAS OCCURED(SERVER ERROR),PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER"
What is it about ? Is it a wrong thing that I don't know about..Can you inform me about this please,thank you.
It sounds like you may have been blocked for sending too many messages, except that a server error can be a problem with your device or ISP as well. Why are you sending separate thank you messages when you thank buyers when they purchase? Sending unsolicited messages to buyers or other users constitutes spamming. You can be temporarily blocked for sending by Etsy when too many messages, because they look like spamming.
I guess the system is seeing you as spamming buyers or other sellers.

Hello.I think sending messages to customers is a good idea about customer service.That's why I sent..But I don't know its a bad thing in etsy..There are no warnings about this situation.If I know its wrong I wouldn't send any of them..How can I activate it ? because some messages about cargos and important things.I think etsy should warn all the sellers not to send these type of messages.My store is new and I don't know this issue.

Maybe its like so.but only today I sent many messages..It says my messaging is temporarily disabled,how long does it take to activate my messaging ?
