This happened a month ago as well… I’ve tried to add a new listing last night and 3 times tonight (wasted about four hours so far)… I’m getting this error message: at here was a problem saving you changes. Contact Etsy support and include error code: (long number). I contacted Etsy twice tonight through chat but they couldn’t figure it out and said they’d have someone email me. They never answered when I asked if I could please get help right away because this isn’t good customer service when someone wants to buy that item tonight. Is anyone else having this issue? I used my laptop not an app to list the item and it worked fine this morning to add two new items, but last night and tonight it’s not working again. I tried signing out and in. @MangomiaJewelry Hi, Many people are having trouble with the Core Details (there is a glitch), and that may be the reason for your Error Message. Can you try to Copy an existing listing, then make your necessary edits. I really hope this will help you, and I also hope they get the Core Details fixed.

Oh shoot, I'm sorry Copy/Paste didn't work for you. Etsy must be tinkering around behind the scenes. I hope tomorrow you will be able to list; this is ridiculous.

I’ve been trying to list one item for the last 3 hours but I’m stuck on Core Details and not only can I not publish my listing but I can’t even save it as a draft. When I click Core Details the first question is if the item is tangible only it takes up the majority of the screen. The box is already marked ‘yes’ and since it won’t let me scroll down I hit Apply… and nothing happens. I’ve checked my email for an Etsy message, checked my Etsy messages, my dashboard thinking I was being actioned for something. Nope. Nothing. I’m beyond frustrated and at a loss for how to proceed.
If you are using Alt text in the photo section, be sure you don't have any apostrophes because the system won't allow you to save and will give you an error message.
What do you mean by text in the photo section?
@JanieSails When sellers open a photo in edit mode, there is a section to the right of the screen for "Alt Text" where we can add any important information for the visually impaired. It doesn't accept certain symbols like apostrophes.

I closed out my Etsy page then reopened Etsy and started my listing from scratch. But it’s the same thing…core details and it won’t let me save as draft. Etsy customer service only advised me to check for an Etsy email, Etsy message or a message on my dashboard in regards to being ‘actioned’. I’ve checked and rechecked and Etsy hasn’t sent me anything. I’m not technology inclined and customer service apparently isn’t either. All I know is that I had a big Etsy workday today that’s gone up in smoke
