English listing info in German default language shop

Hey guys! I'd like to ask if I might be on to something here, within the Technical Issue category.

I am running my shop from Germany with mostly german customers however I am not German myself so when my shop was created german language was selected as the default shop language but all listing info is done in English.

I found this piece of information in the Sellers Handbook:
When you set up your shop on Etsy, you choose a shop language. The title, tags, and listing description you add to your listings should be in the language you choose during setup. We’ll translate your keywords and show shoppers results that match their query and language settings.

Seems like only Etsy could change my default language, I am not able to do it myself. I know I can add a second language, which in my case then would be English, and then copy paste all the listing info over there but the question I have would still remain;

Am I missing out on traffic because my English keywords are, I assume, auto-translated for german shoppers? and/or
Is there anybody who can give me a recommendation on actions needed to optimize my hard-researched English keywords for german shoppers?

Thank you.

Ps. My first thread created I might have messed up in which part of the forum it should be.
