Edit Shop Button Not Working

We change our shop header monthly as well as the layout of the items presented and this morning we attempted to do that and when we click the "edit shop" button that appears over our shop banner nothing is happen so we are unable to change out photos. Is anyone else experiencing this? I've tried from multiple browsers as well as checked to make sure I don't have any pop up blockers on and still nothing works.

Mine seems to be working just fine. Have you tried getting there the other way? Go to shop manager then under Sales Channels you should see your shop next the orange E etsy icon. There should be a pencil icon to click to edit shop. It should open the same things that the edit shop button does/did on shop front page.

That worked! The button should still work however, but this at least helped me with a work around.

Agree that the button should work but you know etsy, something is always broken, glitchy or buggy.

Thanks for this info! I actually contacted Etsy support yesterday and they could not get the front page button fixed.  He suggested another browser and I used Google Chrome and it worked but he did not tell me about this way to edit.  I use Firefox and am so glad I read this thread and your post!

I have had the same problem and been able to change my header using the Sell on Etsy app on my phone.  But the above mentioned solution, the edit button under Sales Channels, also works!

WitticismsRus's method works in that it does prompt the edit mode, however I still could not edit the Featured Items. This was with Firefox.

In Chrome, both paths work. That's good, but Etsy needs to be compatible with all major web browsers - which Firefox is too.

My edit button is not working either- I am using Chrome- and so it seems to be an issue across multiple browsers based on previous comments. Hopefully gets fixed soon.

I'm been having the same trouble. Sometimes it takes 9 or 10 times of hitting the Edit Button before it actually works. Other times I have to step away and wait until later in the day to try it. I have a new laptop so these glitches are definitely not on my end. Very frustrating because I do a lot of editing....

Which edit are you trying to use?  Shop home page or edit in the shop manager?

On the shop home page the edit is in the banner.

On the shop manager page, scroll down to the name of shop on the left hand side.  There is a pencil right next to the shop name.

Once you are editing your shop, you have to enter rearrange in order to change listings,

Thank you. I ended up using the Microsoft Edge browser and was able to edit using the ‘edit shop’ button on my shop page.
