Has anyone else had trouble downloading their CVS data from the previous month? Every time I check it says "We're generating your download and will email you a link to it when it's ready."
This has never happened to me before. Usually I can download and work with the file immediately.
Any help would be great.

I've always been able to download cvs data - including active listings, orders and order items, but I have noticed that some files are larger and take longer to download. And sometimes I have to wait several seconds. My computer might show the download has completed but when I go to my file explorer it shows a zero byte file. If I wait, everything seems to catch up and I can open the file.
You could also try downloading the cvs for the year ... just put the year in the year field and you should get a file that is up to date.
Also make sure that you have space on your device for the download and that you know where it is going. Downloads can end up in weird places.

They have changed the process.
they now email a link to it instead of just downloading in the same place.

hmmm,
I just checked - under Settings/Options/Download Data, I can select which CVS, I want to download.
I haven't seen an email with a link, just the direct download option on the Download Data page.

@GlassyFields from other posts in the forum, the Order Items CSV (but not the others) once you click download, actually refreshes the page and displays a green banner "we're generating your download and will email when ready."
you then get an email with a link to the CSV

No but the numbers are not in agreement between the two reports.... and I wish they would include the sales tax on the reports... I have to go in and individually add them to all my paperwork.
How do I reach them for this problem? Do you know?

The Orders CSV includes a Sales Tax field.
My Sales Tax field is blank - probably because the money went straight to Etsy rather than me. Etsy disburses the sales tax it collects to the various states.
It also includes a State field so you could load the CSV into Excel and do some filters - pivot tables would be even better - to extrapolate the data you want.

You don't have to wait for the email as it will be available instantly in your downloads.

I'm having the same issue. It tells me I will receive an email but I haven't received the emails. @DANGERDUST, did you figure it out?
