Double charge?

Someone purchased a digital file but is saying they were charged twice.  On my end it's showing one order for one file.  I don't know how to help her.

Have they double checked both files are shown being purchased from you? They may have checked out from multiple shops on accident. Sometimes people will put similar items in their cart to compare, and accidentally check out from multiple shops at the same time.

If it is a valid double charge, then they need to contact Etsy directly.

If the buyer is saying their card was debited twice, that is often due to the way the card provider processes payments.  They place a hold on the funds immediately, while the transaction is being checked, then when it clears the actual charge is made and the first one drops off after a short time.  It is like when you check into a hotel and they swipe the card, which reserves the funds, then you pay your bill on departure and the hold amount gets removed a day or so later.   Tell the buyer to wait a day or so and if the charge doesn't drop off, to get in touch with their CC company.
