Dispatch time missing from an order affecting star seller rating - glitch

 

I have been a star seller for 2 years, all my orders are always dispatched on time.

I noticed my on time dispatch and tracking was at 99% - I downloaded the CSV dispatch report and one of my orders was missing the "deliver by" data column, i logged the order number and found the order, I could see on my orders and delivery page that the item was dispatched the same day it was ordered, the tracking was added and the item was delivered all within the specified times. 

I don't actually have to dispatch items for 2 days and as this was dispatched same day it was in fact sent early. 

99% wont change my star seller badge but this is still incorrect, it is odd that the UPS tracking is linked to Etsy and shows a thread with dispatch dates and movements, yet the CSV report shows it as not yet delivered. 

Obviously a glitch, I spoke with the pop up message help and they told me not to worry, I think they misunderstood me, 

I would like this fixed and would like some means of communicating with a tech team member at Etsy to get this put right,

Yes, quite.

I imagine  every seller who posts to these forums feel your pain. It would be so nice to be able to talk to someone human who can put things right. Unfortunately, etsy now seems to be run by bots.

Regarding your issue, that’s interesting. I just checked my orders and my 2 most recent say “out for delivery” even though I know they’ve been delivered. In fact, I just got a five star review for one of them yesterday saying it was perfect.

I wonder if there’s just a lag in updating those stats and if it will eventually catch up. Hoping it doesn’t affect my star seller status either, as both of those orders were shipped on time and have both arrived, according to the tracking link.

Thank you, yes I agree. 

Etsy is starting to get a bit like all the other companies, this always happens, the sooner I get my own website up and running the better. Everytime Etsy changes some algorithm or decides to cut costs by not having a direct line of help, we suffer financially, yet they seem quite happy taking more from sales. Bit of a one sided relationship if their stockholders and providers have no technical assistance or direct line of enquiry - it is an unusual way to treat the people who basically work supply the products and revenue for Etsy.

For that order does the CSV also have a "no" in the "has processing time?" column?

If it does, yes it's a known bug.

Yes this is exactly what has happened, 

 

I have shipped 1400 orders using the same dispatch process, I add the tracking and submit and everytime it has logged as dispatched, the sales note also always shows the complete list of tracking every single stop. 

The fact that on this one occasion it says "no" on the csv and has dropped me from 100% to 99% when it was dispatched same day is not correct, 

Do you know how to get this fixed?

@ScottishWoodDesign  No way to fix it.

You can't publish a listing without a processing time, which means it's losing the processing time on the backend, and etsy have yet to work out how to fix it.

@ScottishWoodDesign: There are two separate issues currently affecting Star Seller. One is the lag / failure in updating the transit status of an order. The other is that some orders "lose" their processing time.

 

"... yet the CSV report shows it as not yet delivered" Which CSV file are you looking at? You need to check the applicable CSV file from your Star Seller page to see what Etsy thinks is late or otherwise has something wrong with it. In particular make sure that *Had processing time?* = yes, *Ship by* has a date, *Tracking/label date* has a date, and *Shipped on time?* = yes.

It is a known bug, and there is only one CSV report to do with dispatch in star seller. 

Not sure you read my post properly, you are telling me what I already know and assuming I didn't know what I wrote in the OP,
