I sell digital items my last 4 customers today are all saying they never got a link for their items. I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem. Maybe some technical issues?
I gave them instruction of how to find the orders and they were all able to find their orders under purchases and orders it just very unusual to have so many say they never got the email.

In general I send the files per email to avoid further problems and frustrations for the customers. Also to avoid bad reviews. I had an issue a while ago and instead of sending the files directly to the customers email address, redirected them to their account to the 'Purchases' link. But it just didn't work and the customer got more angry by the minute. The story ended by her leaving a one star review expressing how she would never, ever buy a downloadable sewing pattern again.
However there are a few common issues - if it isn't a bug - that also give trouble.
The purchase confirmation with download link can end up in spamfolders.
And some phones are not able to download PDF files.
But I'd go for sending the files by mail, saves a lot of time and irritation.
