Deposits

I am so anger and at my wits end!!! I don't know what to do anymore. I had to update my bank account and since then I have had zero deposits and I never received the confirmation deposit either. I have tried to get this looked at by etsy and to this date nothing has been done and the so called customer service has stopped even communicating. I have money that is sitting in my account,.. I have next day deposits as I am a long time member, The date for deposit just keeps moving to the next day!! I went ahead and updated my bank info and I still have not received anything in my bank account. I am so frustrated. 

Please any advice would be appreciated.

Any chance your credit card expired? When you change your bank account, there is a delay before you start receiving deposits again.

Every time you update bank account info it puts a 5 day hold on funds. Help Center explaines here https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/115015808528-Why-Are-My-Payment-Account-Deposits-Delayed-?se...

"If you’ve recently updated your bank If you’ve recently updated your bank details, we'll hold funds in your payment account for 5 days to protect your account from any possible misuse.'

Yes and they told me to go update it again, so I update it and after 5 days nothing after a week nothing another sale...and I still am not getting paid. 

I have updated it 2 times now by Etsy finance request and still I am not receiving my deposits, which clearly say I should be getting my deposits the next day. I going to have to stop selling, cause I'm shipping orders and Etsy is taking their fees and I'm not getting any of my money for any of my sales. I am at a loss... what do I do...no phone number to talk to an actual person...I have requested many call backs...I have no live chat! Like WTF I'm so frustrated and angry

Any idea if this needs to be on a desktop rather than a laptop?? Updating your banking information and getting it verified? Would that make any difference?

desktop or laptop makes no difference,

when you change bank account, you need to do the verification bit, but that's all

have you checked the date you have actually entered into etsy, for your card, is still in date

the card might be, but is the date on etsy OK?

I wish lol...it just got more ridiculous. Etsy told me to update and verify again...which I have done again! I've made another sale and still nothing...

I emailed them again and what do I get... The same bull from yet another agent who claims she read my emails and her co worker's but CLEARLY has not because just tells me it looks like my account isn't verified!!! NO sh*t!!!!I literally am at a loss of words for the stupidity that is happening....

I believe every time you update your bank account it put a 5-day hold on the account.  How many days in between the updates did you do?  Also, did they ever send the deposits to verify?  And did you verify with plaid?

@TheSquirrellyNuts  , I would stop updating your bank because each time you do it you are probably getting a 5 day hold again. There is an administrator that has helped others before. @ChillwolfArt  knows how which one he is. Hopefully she sees this and and can help.

@TheSquirrellyNuts   It's awful you are going through this, and I'm sorry.  I'm seeing more Threads with Sellers who are having financial difficulties; it shouldn't be this way.  You need assistance from knowledgeable Support personnel. 

As others have said, every time you update your bank info, it puts a 5 day hold on the account.  Yet you are being told to update and verify again (according to what you stated above).  Something is mixed up; either the people you spoke to didn't fully understand.

There is an Admin HerrMoostache, who pops into some Threads where Sellers have Hacked Accounts. Another Admin has popped in once in a while; his Name is a long string of letters & numbers.  (I know your Shop isn't Hacked, but you're not receiving assistance for financial matters).  
There is another Admin (thatregina) who addressed a Thread with Sellers having financial issues and Marked that Thread Solved (some Sellers were still having trouble though).

If you want to, it may be a good idea to "at" Admin thatregina here in this Thread.  Enough time has passed, you still need help.  Maybe if she's alerted to this Thread. 

I sincerely hope this gets resolved for you.

Thank you. I finally figured out part of it.  I had to redo all my tax etc information. When I updated my bank information in January, which never got completed on Etsy's end. I stopped selling so I never noticed it until I stumbled on some information. Finally got the tiny etsy deposit...but still none of my money from sales. Guess I will wait a couple more days...FS

Wonder if Etsy will pay ME for MY own customer services lol

Not sure how long that will take.

What really ticks me off is the zero help from Etsy support...

Thank you everybody!! I really appreciate all the advice.

I was after researching and receiving no help I stumbled on tax information and my name. I'm just a small time seller who is starting up again after some time away and I had very little time for my store. So now that I returned...I see more sales and money not going through..lol

I found out that Etsy had never updated my married info which was over 10 years ago...obviously because my banking info actually didn't change. So when I tried to update my new bank account which was this January it never actually got updated or verified, I thought it was but no. What I didn't realize, was it wasn't saving my info and I could constantly go into it and edit over and over again...which I should not be able to do...EVER. So I ended up having to scan and sent all my banking info and i.d and had to wait for that to get updated, Then then I was able to update and verify. As soon as I did that it gave me the instant confirmation and information on what to watch for into your account and once received I verified that amount. I guess now I wait the 5 days with fingers crossed. Maybe my information will help someone else in the future.

What a nightmare... something that could have been avoided if ONLY I could have talked to an actual live person, who knew what they were actually doing. Or perhaps, they can actually read, understand, and know what they are doing in customer service.
