I have 7 orders that have been delivered but the website says that they are still in transit. I feel that this could effect me in a negative way so I was wondering how I can correct this. All 7 have tracking numbers by the way. When I click tracking, the status does not say delivered but when I reached out to the customer, they confirm that it was indeed delivered.
@NanasFakeCakeandmore: When did you correct the tracking? It may still take a day or two for the system to "see" the change and then the CSV file should correct and the Star Seller stats will auto update.
Hello @CharmlyFinds,
We double-checked your Star Seller, and we can confirm that you have 100% for the On-Time Shipping. We can also see that you shipped some orders ahead of its ship-by date. Please know that in cases like this, these orders may reflect on your On-Time Shipping after the stated ship-by date has passed.
Additionally, we can confirm that your shop hasn't been opened for 90 days since your first sale. Kindly remember that aside from customer metrics and minimum requirements, your shop must also be opened for 90-days since your first sale, for you to be eligible for evaluation of Star Seller.
On the other hand, prior to posting in a thread in the Forums, we ask that you please check if you are not bumping an old thread that hasn't seen any activity in a few months (or years, even). If that is the case, and you still would like to share your thoughts and get the conversation going - whether about this or similar topics, we ask that you start your own thread instead of bumping an old one.
Please note that reviving old threads can cause confusion for members reading, so always check the dates of the most recent replies before posting. You can find this information on the top-left corner of each message, just below the member's username and profile picture.
Having said that, and since this thread does not pertain to a technical issue, it will be closed to prevent it from going off-topic.
Thank you!

Hi! I am experiencing the same for the last couple of days, I'm not sure if this is yet another glitch? So fed up!
@TheBreadBar - If you use Etsy Labels, the orders are automatically marked complete & the tracking number is added.
If you use an outside service such as Pirate Ship & you don't have them linked to your Shop, you need to mark the orders complete & add the tracking number to the order. But you probably already know that & have been doing so all along.
However, I never trust Etsy's link to USPS & the tracking information provided thru my Buyer/Order page. Often it is not accurate. If you can follow the package thru USPS' website & can see where the package has been delivered, you will probably need to contact Etsy Support so that they can manually over-ride what is shown on the order's page. But you'd need to find "the right" person who would be willing to do more than just look at the order page "through Etsy".
I think I saw a post where the Shop Owner mentioned clicking on the USPS link that is also on the order page which indicated (for them) that the package delivered. Somehow after this the Etsy Order Page magically updated. Maybe lightning can strike twice?
I always use Etsy labels and I have a few order from the past ( i mean some of them are from 4 years back ) which seem on Etsy dashboard as in transit or pre-transit,
For me, they dont effect anything at all, I asked it to Etsy support several times. but if it bothers you just provide the order numbers, they can fix it.
I reached them out via chat, I dont know if it is still beta or available for everyone. However, I believe you can contact them via Help Center as well.
I am having this problem and it is showing up now in my star seller status as a problem. I’m so annoyed
I send an email to help with the order number, tracking number, and date delivered (or confirmed by Buyer as delivered in non-tracking countries). They have closed manually all the ones I've requested.
What email could I address?
Are the tracking numbers updated on the USPS site? If so, send a list of listing numbers into Etsy and ask them to update the tracking to delivered.
Sometimes the information does not transfer over. Now if USPS did not update the tracking then there is not much you can do except request USPS to update the tracking number.
Yes it is annoying when the order stays at pretransit. I mostly order through Etsy for postage although this has just gone up again in cost u will have to look at other options.
if it stays in pretransit unfortunately the customer cannot leave a review
Yes I paid for tracked delivery from Singapore to Australia. But the status was only until the parcel arrived in destination country. Not totally delivered to recipient. My customer has received the order but unable to leave a review!!! What can I do so she can leave a review?
I accidentally forgot a couple numbers when manually input that I shipped so I corrected but Etsy still shows that I missed it. The item was just ordered on the 13th and today is only the 15 th plus it is a Sunday! I shipped the same day was ordered . I am bummed because won't get Star Seller. Etsy shows the corrected tracking number since correcting but. Still says I missed it.

Oh I assumed since it showed the correct number that it would be automatic.I see that it has been changed. Thank you
We have a store that shows 24 orders as "pre-transit" yet have been delivered. The problem for us is that Etsy will not release the funds in reserve (for 45 days from purchase) if the item doesn't have a trackable number. These orders are months old, some even have reviews and yet still show as "pre-transit". I don't know how to remedy this. When I click on the tracking number through Etsy, it shows delivered with a pic (in most cases). They are withholding thousands of dollars. Our account just hit the 90-day mark yesterday and the funds are still being held. We have no Etsy violations. They have also come in and made our store unsearchable because of the high number of outstanding orders although, these orders are actually closed and received but because the FedEx tracking number shows pre-transit, they do not consider it fulfilled. I guess our only option is to wait it out. We would love any suggestions. They are holding A LOT of money.
I don't have a solution for you, but I want to camp on to your posting because I am having the same problem. Contacting support is absolutely 100% NOT helpful. They just reply with canned responses that say the same thing over and over and never actually answer my questions. They won't even tell me WHY a reserve was placed on my account. I am LIVID. They are holding a LOT of my money as well.
I'm having the same issues, I have over 200 orders in reserve, all of which have been mailed out, most have been received by the customers, but I can't get the funds for another 35-ish days and I'm pretty sure wont have a leg to stand on if any of the buys try to claim I didn't send anything, as the tracking info wont update.
