DESCRIPTIONS

PLEASE make DESCRIPTIONS easy for customers to find..... or make some notice near the TITLE to say where the descriptions are.  I understand Descriptions may not be important to certain Shops depending on what they sell..... but, they are VERY IMPORTANT to many Shops .... including mine.  I sell fabric.  I have customers call and message me all the time for more information about the fabric.... information that I can't "fit" into my title.  I had a customer just this morning asking about details that were clearly mentioned in the description (which the customer couldn't find!)  I, personally, don't buy anything without looking for further details about what I'm buying.  Many times I pass by the listing if I can't find out more information.... I look for another vendor that gives complete information.  (Not just on Etsy...but, any on-line listing)  Please consider putting descriptions in a prominent place where customers can SEE them.... or making a note somewhere in a prominent place so customers can find them.  Thank you!

Re: DESCRIPTIONS

Many people are not in the test group so they see the description right where it has always been. It might cause some confusion when they try to find the description at the bottom and it isn’t there. Not everyone sees the same thing with Etsy testing. If you are in the test then you will see the shops in the test format.

Re: DESCRIPTIONS

I agree; to users who are in this test, it makes no sense to have the Descriptions on the Left, waaaaay down below Reviews.  Why make it difficult for a Customer.  Isn't the goal to keep them on this site; not frustrate them so they get ticked and go to another site.

I don't know if I am in the test today (haven't viewed any Descriptions).  But the other day I was.  And there was a white bar across the page. It had the following clickable font: Item details, About, Policies, etc.  As I scrolled downward to see the Description, this white bar sort of rolled down the photograph.  I clicked on Item Details and it showed the Description (which also appeared under Reviews).

Sorry, makes no sense. Again, why make things difficult for Buyers?  (As well as Sellers).  We have no idea who is in a test at any given time. But I can only imagine what they think.

Re: DESCRIPTIONS

I have been in this test before (last month?) and seem to be in & out of the current test at random times throughout the day. I have seen description location variances depending upon how I am viewing the listing ... signed in / signed out / incognito mode / using different shipping zip codes.  Sometimes it shows on right hand side, other times it shows directly under the photo, and other times it shows at bottom of page with white scrolling bar like @ChillwolfArt mentioned above.  Don't know if/when this silly description location testing is going to end, but it is very frustrating to both buyers & sellers alike.

Re: DESCRIPTIONS

Today I see descriptions on the side again like before. I really hope they will be done with the test really soon and keep them on the side, easy to find.
