Cannot Send messages from Etsy

I've been having an issue for almost 3 months.  I am unable to send messages from Etsy.   I keep getting a message...

"Bummer, your messages have been temporarily disabled.  Please contact Support to have them reactivated.

I've sent several messages to Etsy Support, I receive a reply, that they are looking into it.  But nothing more.

This is preventing me from getting my Star Seller.    I'm also not able to remind customers, to post a review.

Which is part of the Stellar (Star) Seller program,  and now issues with data not crossing to EverBee.

How can I build my shop, if things don't work, or can't get replies from Etsy Support?

You do not need to remind customers to post a review. Shoppers get pestered enough from etsy to leave reviews. Perhaps some of your messages asking for a review got marked as spam and that's why etsy has disabled your messaging. Also, unless I'm misunderstanding your post , sending reminders to customers about posting a review is not part of the star seller program.

Reminding buyers to leave a review is spam. Maybe that’s why your messages are muted.

I'm in total agreement with you all.  I have not sent any messages since I haven't been able to, and did not send any messages prior.  But my biggest complaint is not getting a resolution for almost 3 months from Etsy Support.   I work in the Technical Support for Hospitals and Doctors, where people can die.   Now this is my business, and I can see it will grow, but these stumbling blocks, I believe are holding me back.

@ThisIsTheWayGraphics   Take one reply email that you got from Etsy and send it back with the information that you still cannot receive messages.  Etsy may have concluded the problem was fixed when you didn't follow up on it. 

As far as data that might be Everbee's issie.

Frankly asking for reviews is not a good practice. And if you don't get messages then it doesn't ding your SS score,

You do realize Fulton County owns the rights to the photo?

@ArtDollsbyJD    Yes I have sent to Etsy Support multipe emails, that are follow ups from previous email messages from them.  Twice today.  

I do have a ticket with EverBee, they tried rebooting their API connection, it didn't show any change.  Earlier there was a banner on the Stats page on Etsy, that says they were aware of stats not being updated.   The banner is gone.  But still not showing any change on Everbee.   

In regards to the  Fulton county photo, at this point Trump has made over 9 million using the picture.  They never should've released it.  Then anyone that is selling .SVG photo is even more in the wrong.  Looks like Trump could have another court case.

Hi I have the same problem when I get a message from either a new customer asking questions about an item or sending a message to someone who bought an item from me

i have sent several messages to Etsy Support and so far I have not received anything from them it’s just comes up 

Bummer cannot send messages the same as other people have put on their forum

if you have any advice please let me know as this is getting beyond a joke

Not to discount the fact that your messaging may have been disabled in error, generally it is because the system has detected that your account has been sending unsolicited non-transactional messages.
