When a customer is asked to leave a review for a digital download, why are they allowed to rank the shipping 1 thru 5? I've gotten a couple 1s for shipping from customers who might be confused and think 'oh I'll choose 1 because shipping is irrelevant'. Having a 1 for shipping negatively impacts the perception of my service when viewing my shop and impacts star seller status. Fortunately most customers skip it, by why waste anyone's time?!
Any suggestions on trying to get Etsy to fix this? Can't find a bug report/feature request function...
That happens with customer service too. Some choose "1" when they really mean they didn't need any customer service.
Oof I haven't had that yet, but only a matter of time probably. Maybe a 'not applicable' option would be a better solution/feature request.
I guess they never thought of that. Probably too much involved in having a separate review setup for digital listings.
With any Likert-type scale, there needs to be a N/A or Unknown option. The programmers and designers obviously do not have either assessment or research backgrounds.
Because they don't run a shop, there are lots of things they don't think of. The fact they don't care doesn't help either.
