I need to create a custom order but when I insert the price (and shipping) in euro for me, commas go totally crazy and zeroes are added on, making €80 become €80000 or 8,0000 (I tried with points too, different browser etc) and I can't put the exact prices.
Sometime appears an error that said: "Prices cannot contain more than two decimal spaces" but .. I know this.
Any ideas?
@FogliaViola There are lots of issues with the new Custom Order format. I haven't heard of this glitch, but I'm not surprised. What I've been doing is just create a regular listing titled "RESEVED for XX" - publish, pay the 20 cents, email the link to the customer. The Custom form as it is, is barely functional - so frustrating.
Thanks for the suggestion!
I don't know why I didn't think about this so simple thing .. maybe the weekend has come and I need to relax?
Anw, I have tried again and again in all ways and the price does not want to stay as I write it. So yes, it is really frustrating.
I have the same problem. Do not enter the right digit. What I do is create it anyway and then subsequently go and change the price after creating the order. The bad thing is that the customer sees it all at an exaggerated price.
Ho pensato di fare così ma il rischio era troppo grande.
Forse finché non sistemano è meglio creare un'inserzione a parte che creare scompiglio nel cliente, soprattutto se è nuovo e giustamente timoroso.
this problem still exists! change your language to English, then it will work.
Thank you so much, I have had this problem for so long and finally after reading your suggestion, it has worked!
These zombie threads should be "Read Only"....................
This bug is stil in the form. A long time now. I made a video of the issue. The javascript in the form edits the price every time you unfocus the field. The issue is in both fields, price and shipping costs.
Now I create the custom order with a price like € 29.500,00 and then change the listing to € 29.50. Please Etsy, fix this issue on such a much used feature.
I actually just had this problem when developing a copied listing for a specific request. My customer wasn't pleased that a $$ item was priced at $$$$. It is an Etsy error. I redid the listing three times. On the third try it showed the correct amount. This was my first time experiencing this problem. Thankfully I've moved my custom orders off of Etsy. But I'm still processing smaller requests which I'm not sure I'll continue doing after this experience.
This problem still exists. Solution: Change the language to English.
But really Etsy, why doesn't this form work in other languages? There should be an easy fix for this.
