It seems like a big proportion of customs simply don't receive Custom Orders created from the message screen.
Either that or the interface isn't clear.
Something needs to be done, it's embarrassing, it delays sales and looks unprofessional, and it's time consuming as we then have to create listings in our shops and send the customers a direct link.
Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?
I haven’t used it since the change, I just create a special order for them and list it as a “reserved for, Jane Doe”
It is embarrassing, you're right. There have been multiple posts about this. I contacted Support months ago with complaints how it is barely functional. I was told my concerns would be passed onto their special TEAM.
I too, have been setting up a normal listing marked as "RESERVED for XX" and sending the link t my customers. Only once in the past has someone else purchased a listing meant for someone else, but the OG customer never came back, and it was weeks later. Interestingly, my most recent Reserved but published listing shows it was in 12 people's carts * after it was purchased! I call BS on the cart thing! LOL!
