Coupon code trouble

I've been trying to set up a coupon code and when I type in the code name, I get the error message, "Must contain only letters and numbers" which, of course, it does. I've tried over and over, rebooting everything, etc. Any ideas what else I can try?

That can happen if you accidentally leave a space at the beginning.

was it one you already used and deleted? Try a different name?

As long as the original is no longer active, you can reuse the name.

It's finally working, didn't change anything. Maybe they saw my complaint. Who knows?

It won't like the percentage symbol.  No symbols just letters and numbers.
