Could not log into Etsy to get my shipping done.

I tried over and over to log into Etsy, I even tried two other browsers, but I kept getting an error message.

So then I decided to see if Etsy would let me log in as a customer wanting to make a purchase from another shop.  Voila!!

That was getting scary because I need to get my shipping done in the next few minutes or not until tomorrow.

I'd ad "labels" to this post, but ones like "website issues" "log in issues" etc are not on the list of available labels.

If you just can't make it work - can you access your customers' addresses in your email notifications? Take the address(es), go over to pirateship and open a free account. Buy your labels there.

Sorry Etsy, but if your shipping isn't working, somebody else's is. Pirateship gets the same good rates that Etsy does (or better, maybe? not sure) - they have actual customer support, and you don't have to pay to join. Totally worth it.

I have an USPS account because I sell on more than one venue.  They provide cases of free boxes and maintain an address list for me of my customers.  The free boxes are worth it.  Don't want to "jump ship" at this point.

Got into Etsy by pretending to want to make a purchase.

I'm having log-in issues too. Had to try again and again 6 times before the magic happened.

Unfortunately this has been going on for some time (I'm not having difficulty but several others are).  See this Thread amongst others.  I "atted" an Admin who is in Technical Issues.  Hopefully this is something which will be addressed, given to the correct Technical Team and fixed.  Because people can't work like this.

I get error messages every day but I'm able to sign in. You might want to try Chat Support, which I did. They may ask for a screen shot of the error message and some other info.  Hope this helps.  Dashboard > Community & Help > Contact Us >Selling on Etsy >Manage Listings, if none of those topics apply, go to the bottom and click  "I Still Need Help"

As I mentioned in the post, I did get in by pretending to want to make a purchase.  Don't have time for all the other stuff.  Had to ship within a few minutes or wait until today.

Well, this has happened to me just now (everything was fine up to this point).  Same desktop computer, Chrome, Windows 10.

I was on Etsy earlier; Signed out.  Cleared cache, cookies a little while ago as I always do.  Just now came back back to Etsy After Signing In, got the red banner, "An Error has occurred."  I remember someone saying they refreshed the screen and was able to be signed in.  I Refreshed the screen and was in.  

This has not happened for me until TODAY,  JUST NOW.  
Something else was different as well.  Before I Signed In, on my Etsy Page earlier this morning it had the Memorial Day Sales Banner After I cleared cache, cookies and came back in, there was NO Memorial Day Banner on my Etsy Page (not before I signed in or after).

And then we wonder why sales are down.  (Only part of the issue I know, but every bit adds up)
