My star seller rating for communication is at 75% simply because I did not respond to two auto replys I received for orders I have placed? My replys to all of my customers are at 100%, but I am being essentially punished for not responding to messages that a) do not warrant a response and b) have absolutely nothing to do with my customers or my shop? So incredibly ridiculous.

All messages warrant either a reply or mark as spam
In the way that Etsy has set up the star seller program, there are no messages that are regarded as not needing a response unless they are spam and then they have to be marked as spam. It does not matter if you are the buyer or the seller, Etsy wants all incoming messages answered within 24 hours. It isn't fair or reasonable when messages are for a seller's own purchases on Etsy but it is what it is for this program. I have seen other sellers saying they now buy as a guest so that they won't received messages to their seller account on Etsy for their own purchases.
