Chrome “This Site Can’t Be Reached”

PC w/ Chrome “this site can’t be reached”

Started as a random occurrence over the past week.  Now Etsy won’t load at all.  EVERY other website loads fine.

I cleared cache and history, chrome is up to date, restarted PC….nothing works.

It also shows that the connection to Etsy is NOT SECURE in chrome, so that may be the issue, but it shows secure in Edge and Safari.  Before this week the connection in Chrome was always secure.  The only extension I have is for my Rollo printer, but that has been there for years now.

And after my PC trying for a hour the site loaded and now the Secure lock is there.

So random and I NEVER had this problem before.

Chrome was doing this to me for dozens of sites a few years ago...I actually had to get a new lap top to update Chrome.

Thought it was something with my computer.  I now get "bad requests" from Chrome.  I hope they're working on this.

I was getting a "Bad Request" on the Listings page last week using Chrome. It seemed to fix itself few hours later. I'd suggest using a different browser for now and then go back and try again on Chrome another day.

I always use Chrome, Windows 10 *(same desktop computer).  I'm not having any problems (knock on wood).  But photos seem to unveil themselves at a slower rate.  I really don't know why.

We can confirm that Etsy.com is not experiencing issues at the moment - We suggest re-flushing your DNS cache, clearing your browser's cookies, and then checking your local connection. If the problems persist, please get in touch with your local ISP.

Check your virus & internet security for updates (even if it is set to automatic) install latest updates. Then try the Etsy site.

For some reason this was happening several months ago, it would not allow me on any Etsy sites including the forum whilst other websites were working just fine. (also mostly use chrome)

I'm not having any problems. Chrome, desktop, windows 10. Have you tried the usual stuff - restart, run a scan, try a different device?
