I am having issues with receiving emails from my domain name which forwards to gmail. So currently trying to get Etsy to change my email address on file to the gmail one.
their process involves sending a verification code to the old address, rather than a text, which means i cannot access it so change it.
i have contacted them, but not sure if they have replied to my old address, or not replied at all!
Any suggestions on how to proceed!
Can you not access you main domain email account directly?
You might have to go through the help options, to see which ones gives you the call back option. All replies & verification codes by email will be sent to the one on file in your account.
My website (artweb) host my domain name and from there i have the email set to forward to gmail. I have contacted them to find out if it is a problem at their end but not yet had a reply! I am in the UK, so don’t seem to have a call back facility from Etsy
When you have your own domain with email, you should be given the log in page for the webmail.
I do hate it when a hosting companies removed direct contact for issues.
Send 1 email and CC every email they have listed from their contacts page, then place a message one of their social media threads to get their attention.
This is unacceptable business, you should be able to access you own domain and email at all times, without anything being forwarded.
