I know Etsy states that once a seller responds to a review, the buyer can no longer change the review. However I had responded to one of my buyer's reviews and now that review disappeared. Can the buyer delete a review even after the seller responds? If so does that mean they can now post another review?
Are you sure it disappeared? Did you change the view to ''most recent'' since low reviews are typically buried under good reviews when looking at the ''suggested'' view?
If it is actually gone, the buyer could have contacted Etsy and asked them to remove it. Buyers cannot remove the review themselves.
I am positive it disappeared. I did switch to recent and it wasn't there. I also went to the order page from that customer and I can not see any review. I know it was there because I screenshotted it.
I can still see the one star review. If you change the view to "most recent", it's on the third page.
It was not a one star review, it was four. I did switch to recent and it wasn't there. I also went to the order page from that customer and I can not see any review.
A review can also disappear if it is reported and Etsy removes it. That only happens if the review meets the criteria for removal.
I never reported it, is that something they buyer can do? And if they do can they make a new one?
@SpaceAgeRings Yes, as I wrote earlier, a buyer can contact Etsy and ask that their review be removed. There's no proof that they did, so you might never know what happened.
No, I don't think they'd get a second shot to post a new review.
