Cant get return label, "There was an error creating this label. Please try again."

Hi, I am trying to issue a return label for an item being returned.
I click on the "return label" button, I fill in the info, then when i push the "create return label" button I get a red banner that says,

"There was an error creating this label. Please try again."

I've tried multiple times over the past 24 hours and I keep getting denied.

Please help

@VintageOrganic By chance was it a guest buyer? You can only get return labels for a guest if they attach the order to an account.

Try a different browser. It's also possible you have an extension blocking the popup for the return label. You could try disabling extensions like ad blockers or pop up blockers.

I get the same results with a different browser. Im not using any popup blockers.

It's not necessarily a popup blocker. It can be any extension, including an antivirus program. No one else has posted about this issue in Forums recently, which does seem to indicate that it's an issue related to your device or settings.

You need to contact Etsy directly for help, since none of the usual fixes are working. Etsy support is not here in Forums. We are just other sellers.

I have also cleared my cache and rebooted my computer

day 5 of not being able to issue a return label.

I contacted Etsy support on Tuesday, on Wednesday they suggested I clear my cache (after already telling them I had). They requested a screen shot and I sent them one the same day. I have not heard from them since then.

This is an internal Etsy issue that has been going on for a couple of years now. They will mention all of the things above give you the run around, but it's not your computer. It's an issue on there end. I can issue 3 return labels for different buyers and the same day have two more I cannot issue to other buyers who are registered users. There are many glitches on Etsy's site that they do not seem to address.
