Can't stop notifications on purple Etsy app

Since yesterday, the purple Etsy app is sending me notifications whenever someone favorites an item in my shop or my whole shop. I checked last night and apparently the notifications settings had been modified by a recent update so I turned them off. It's still sending me the notifications. I checked my app again this morning and the settings are turned off but I'm still getting the notifications.

Same here so I changed it to "silent". Still a needless notification, but at least it's a little bit less annoying.

(If you have Samsung/Android: long press on the notification and then you can switch between sound and silent)

Help! I am also getting notifications every time someone favorites my shop, or an item in it. I want to have a notification from Etsy only when something in my shop sells. How do I shut off the superfluos notifications??

@EllieBeginJewelry  - On the new (blue) app there are settings. By digging around I found the notifications button and was able to turn off all of them except for sales & Etsy messages. I kept those on because that's what I wanted.

I also have this problem as I recently added the (BLUE) app as my first app..........dam annoying when some chap in India favs EVERYTHING in succession and I mean EVERYTHING! Thankfully my life is not that pathetic. ANyhoo, thanks all as 

it mentioned the solution, settings in the blue app and I was able to turn off the favs and leave the important stuff on. CHEERS! NanaLetha.......ABAREBUGYO

Big same. This seems like it's against notification policy.
