Can't post comments in one particular discussion thread

Is it only me? As of today, I can't post comments in Vintage Creative Process Weekend Finds? thread. The reply button is grayed out and the message field is absent. Has the topic reached the maximum capacity, if such exists? Right now the thread has 52 pages. I can post in all other threads, though. Very strange. 

I used the chat feature to try to figure out what the problem is. They said that they'll escalate this issue to tech department.

I just took a look at that thread and yes, the reply button is grayed out for me, too.  No idea why tho.

There is also the red we can't complete your requested action which usually means we've shut this thread down, because it's old and confusing to everyone.  Maybe someone reported it as a zombie because it is 3.5 years old although it has been active the whole time.

If the reply button is greyed out, it means an admin closed the thread.
