The abandoned cart offer can't be changed - there is no Stop Sending or Deactivate option. I want to stop sending this offer today but there is no way!
This is a known issue that has been posted many times on the tech forum.
Etsy is aware and claims to be looking into it but they have no estimated timeline of when it’ll be fixed. In the meantime, sellers are unable to deactivate coupon codes.

Buyers will have 60 days to use abandoned basket offers, and 1 year for thank you offers set as the default expiration dates.
That is not at all the issue. OK if people can use the coupon for 60 days from now, but I want to stop sending new offers as of today.
if you go to the offer,
scroll down, under details there is a date, you should be able to end it there
I clicked on "stop sending" and it continues to send emails. I also am unable to deactivate, and Etsy support told me it's a technical issue in my shop. I don't think that is true.
This information is what Etsy support told me too, but my codes are way past 60 days and they are still being used! They are not the Thank you offer codes
Same thing with my Thank You code. The deactivate button is gone and I have had this code for 2 years. Just saw the new Etsy updated info about it. It will stay active for up to a year for the thank you codes
I’ve been trying to deactivate this going on two weeks. So we are forced to keep this promo going? This is my really slow time of year. The few orders I’m getting , lots of using the code and that’s 15% off. That’s a chunk of money plus the other 12-15% that etsy charges
If you click on details then you can see where you can end it.
It doesn’t have that option.i was able to deactivate the two codes I had activated but this last one doesn’t have the deactivate option. Its just blank
Some of us don't have that option!
I've been trying for weeks to end my abandoned cart promo, but there just is nothing to end it in Details!
I click on details and there is no option at all. I used to be able to for the Thank you coupon, but not any more. When I click on details it only shows the date when it started and how many times the coupon was sent out and no other option. Etsy removed it because they now say a buyer has up to 1 year to use the Thank You coupon.
Yeah the options are gone. I deactivated them and it's still active.
SAME!
Exactly! And even if you "stopped sending" offers on an older coupon (those that had no expiration), you now cannot deactivate those either. So with no expiration date on the older offers, those will last for use for eternity (or the lifespan of Etsy). What if people have already repeatedly used that one on multiple items, and I now cannot turn it off even though it was set up last year!@#$$%
Guess the option is raise prices across the board...didn't want to as I am trying to work towards an end date here myself.
This from Etsy:
Scroll way down the page & there's this:
A campaign will continue to run until:
I read this to mean that if a shop has abandoned cart or thank-you coupons active right now & Etsy sent them out in an email today, the buyers who received them could use them within the 60 day or 1 year time frame.
But shop owners are supposed to be able to deactivate any coupons they have active right now by going to the Details. If they can't then I wouldn't be surprised if a glitch created when Etsy changed the time frames for the coupon codes.
There is no option for me to deactivate. Like when I click on details , the deactivate section is blank
I've had trouble before they changed the timing. The only one I'm having trouble is my abandoned cart, It said it deactivated and still sending out coupons, I wanted to change the promo but still have no option to do so. I've been trying since April to get this fixed and now it's July. Maybe we need some new tech people?

This is very unfair for the sellers. Now they are forced to give a discount even if they don't want to. And, this is because Etsy can't figure it out. They just want to get all the fees they can.
It is now July 2024, I can't believe that has not been able to correct this, Those who either can't stop, change etc. is very unfair and they wonder we sellers are leaving the platform!!
i know some people think there is not a glitch.
but there is.
yes it makes sense that the promo code remains active...
until the last promo code has expired... so 60 days from the last promo code sent.
and it make sense you cannot deactivate the code while it remains active to those customers.
the glitch is this.
when you click the button to stop sending the promo codes.
the button disappears.
which is fine.
however...
etsy is still sending the promo codes.
and there is no way to stop it.
and there is no end date.
Definitely a bug happening! I tested all 3 of my codes while using incognito mode ... they all say "invalid" ... so how in the heck are they being used? Etsy needs to allow us to edit our coupons!
I agree with you on this. I had ended my promo code and now it’s reactivated with no end date. I contacted Etsy chat and they said they’re aware of this but then proceeded to tell me I didn’t end my promo code and that no one at Etsy is able to change a code or end it. No help whatsoever. If it continues I’ll go raise my prices by the amount I’m losing because of Etsy’s glitches.
If it's a known issue why went I made all the calls to report and follow-up.
Why did some one tell me that?
Talk about a waste of time!!
