I noticed you posted that you can now add all of the core details without the screen freezing up. Could you share with the Etsy Community how you did that? Thanks
I can actually list items using a mobile phone but not through my computer which is frustrating too as I cannot upload any videos when using the app on a mobile phone. It is ridiculous I agree
If everybody Posts something on Twitter maybe Etsy will finally pick it up?
this issue is really frustrating especially when you put in the hard work to describe your item and fill in all of the 1 thousand tiny details required to put up a listing and then notice its not working and you cant save the listing as a draft. I lost half an hour of work and because I refreshed the page All of my hard work was gone.
I’ve had to copy and edit an existing listing in order to post a new listing. But, for OOAK items, it’s dicey. Everything has to change…titles, photos, tags, attributes, metal, measurements, gemstones, colors, descriptions, etc. If just one of those changes is missed a seller leaves themselves open to an NAD case. So, for those who sell items that are similar to one another, it’s a decent work around. However, those of us selling OOAK are taking more of a risk when copying/editing.
I tried to list new items yesterday and it just kept freezing. Could not scroll down on my phone on the core details. On my laptop it didn’t give me an option to scroll but it also wouldn’t move on to the next few options. Heavy sigh.
I have been going back and forth with Etsy on this issue for 3 weeks! They were telling me all the same stuff until about a week ago when they finally admitted it is on their end and they are “working on it”. No time frame. Now they just won’t answer me. No browsers work. I sell antiques and vintage. Each item completely different so it is hard to redo past listings as a work around. So frustrating I’ve tried every browser. None work. I think they are trying to force everyone to their app. Which I absolutely HATE.
Yesterday I posted a listing with the copy edit method in my phone app and it finally worked. Its a lot of fuss though, I hope this issue is fixed soon on the browser.
Hi, I’ve had this problem. My solution has been to cancel the window and carry on in the listing page, adding title, photos and other details. Later in the listings page you can then add the core details successfully.
