Can’t Copy and paste order addresses to pirate ship

Hi, it seems I can no longer copy and paste order addresses from the Etsy seller app to my label program, pirate ship, which I use because I sell in several venues. I have restarted both of my phones. Nothing. Please advise. TY.

Do you not get a copy of these orders in your personal email? Just copy and paste it from there. I find it simpler and more convenient to use Etsy shipping labels and have only found them to be more expensive than Pirate Ship or Ship Station on rare occasions.

As I ship from several sales venues, it is much easier for me to use only one shipping service. It will be more time consuming for me to sift through emails and do that, but thank you! I was wondering why this was happening on the app. If anyone can fix it I would be very grateful .

It is highly unlikely that you will see anything here from technical support because this is really mostly a seller forum. Although I do believe they watch the technical thread more closely. 

I don't use the app because I work from a desktop. But in the desktop I just click the order number and if I wanted to I can copy and paste the address from there when the window opens on the side of the screen. If you have a desktop computer that might be a workaround for you until we see if this is a permanent issue with using the app.

Copy and paste is. more about your device than anything else. Depending on the device you are using there is generally a couple ways to copy and paste things from one window to the next. 

Are you  able to copy and paste other things?? like try just a google search and copy and paste into another window?

If you can't get it to work on your device thru an app== then log into each place via the browser and ignore the app. The etsy app is known for being glitchy.

I have APPLE products and 2 mins ago I printed a postal label using Pirate Ship and it worked just fine for me- copy and paste.

I’ve also been having this issue for about 48 hours. I hold down on the address and highlight it on the seller app as I normally would but nothing happens - usually ‘copy’ would pop up but it isn’t. 

I have restarted my iphone and made sure the app was up to date. 

I’ve resorted to copying from my email to paste into pirate ship. Hopefully this isn’t a long term issue as it is a little inconvenient.

I’m having  the same issue and I really depended on copying and pasting the address to make my labels - made things much simpler and was literally working perfectly fine until a few days ago- I thought it was my phone alone and have been searching non stop. Using the address in the email notifications does work (as suggested in this thread ) a bit less convenient but it works . I wonder what happened ?

Yes, it’s still not working for me and it takes twice as long to do it from a computer VS iPhone

I still don't have the etsy app on my phone. I access etsy through my browser, and regularly copy-paste to pirate ship.

You know how you can't copy and paste with the instagram app? You can through the browser. I'm sure it works the same way. And to be clear, I mean the browser on my phone.

Can you just link Etsy to PirateShip? L When I use it I don’t need to copy and paste, it imports the info.

Etsy cut off integration with PirateShip last year for new sellers. Shops still using the integration are grandfathered in & can still import addresses right now though.

It seems Etsy is following everything TIKTOK seller has done… Tracking time frames…. Seller badges…. And now removing the copy and paste from the app which makes no sense because I can go on website and copy and paste…. It’s just annoying…

The great thing about Pirate Ship is they have wonderful customer support, just use the chat button on pirate ship & ask them for advice.

I was grandfathered in with Pirateship but lost access so now I have to type the address into Pirateship and then paste the tracking info into Etsy. It’s a pure money grab for Etsy to make this so difficult. There are lots of reasons people prefer Pirateship but Etsy doesn’t care. Making commerce human huh?
