Messages format in seller app vs online

Hello,

Does anyone else see a difference in the formatting of their messages to a buyer, in the seller app versus online?

Earlier this evening, I replied to a message from a potential buyer. My reply to them was several short paragraphs, included all proper spacing and punctuation, and also included the URL to an item on Etsy. When I wrote the reply, I was on my laptop on the Etsy website.

Just a few minutes ago, I had my phone out, and had the Etsy seller app open instead. When I revisited my message to the buyer, I noticed that the formatting is completely different, and all messed up! There are no paragraphs anymore, it's all just one wall of text. There are no spaces anymore between periods and the first letter of the next sentence. And, the link is missing.

I don't know what my reply looks like from the buyer's side, but if they're on the app, I'm fearing the worst!

I'd like to look into it more, but I don't have very high hopes for how communication about it would go if I contacted Etsy chat help about it. In the past, I've had a hard time getting my point or issue across and having the outcome be anything very helpful.

So I thought I would ask here, first - Is anyone else seeing this difference in their messages on the seller app vs online?
