Hi everybody,
since 2 days now I can not access my cart to make a purchase. This happens in my buyer account. With my business account there is no problem. I cleared all cookies and cache and website data and I did this several times. I used different browsers too. Logged in and logged out. Nothing has helped so far. Really annoying and frustrating. It has never happened before. I planned to place a big order so Etsy is loosing money!
Anybody else who is facing problems with cart accessability/shopping?

@MyBeata What exactly is happening? Nothing happens when you click on it? Error message, and what is it? Are you using an app? Or is your cart empty - maybe you have a different Buyer account you are logged into?

Has anyone tried checking out as a Guest? Because if that works, you can link your guest purchase to your desired account after the sale.

Disturbing to think this may be happening to our Buyers.
Thank you all for your replies. I went to this (other) account and filled my cart again. After a while I got the same error message like in the other account: " Uh oh! A stitch has gone awry. Please try again later." I will leave it and try back next week! So frustrating!
@PillowDetails Yes, I did! I think what fixed it was clearing my browser's cache.
I use an app called CCleaner which claims to clean all the temp files and other random stuff from my laptop; I run this app every day or two. Years ago, clearing the browser cache was a regular routine but since I've been using CCleaner (several years now), I'd been under the impression it was doing that. Still, I'm not sure this would completely explain why my Etsy cart was suddenly inaccessible? Maybe clearing the cache was just a work-around?
And people wonder why their sales are down. I am sure that glitch could be having an effect on sellers too. And it sure doesn't bode well for Etsy to have repeat buyers. Tsk Tsk

If I am having this problem for 2 days now, I believe that there are many other buyers who can't make a purchase. Well, obviously Etsy can afford to loose money.

Well I was wondering why sales fell off a cliff here and increased everywhere else. I guess customers are giving up here and finding my other shops and buying there.
Day 3 and I am unable to access my shopping cart. In both accounts! It's getting ridiculous!
@MyBeata Have you cleared your browser's cache? Or the app cache if you're using the app?
Yes, having this same problem.
I've been having the same problem....can't place my big order. Tried all the obvious. Called CService. Says I have too many items in my cart? I can't check out with 40 items? Since when? Cart goes up to 100. I always buy a lot. WHY IS THIS a problem now. It keeps my from checking out more often.
I can't access my cart either. Tried signing out and back in. Cleared cache and cookies. Disabled add ons. Tried different browsers and devices. NO LUCK with any of these.
My cart is just completely erroring out. It’s a website issue, not a me issue. I’ve been trying to buy things during this sale, and I can’t even look at my cart. NOT happy, since prices will rise on everything I have in my cart tomorrow. It sits and tries to load for a long time, and then I get sent to the error page.
EDIT:: I just checked through the app and it works on there for me.
Kind of insane that Etsy sends out emails with limited-time coupons and such that you *can't use* because the system is broken for days as things expire. Just lovely. Here to report the same issue as well.

I have a sidebar for an abandon cart coupon code from another shop but nothing is in my shopping cart.
I had the same issue for days last week. I couldn't check out from my desktop using chrome, or from my Ipad....so two completely different operating systems. What finally worked was logging in via Microsoft Edge, which I never use and don't intend to use going forward. As a seller, it's beyond frustrating to be spending advertising dollars during what should be the busiest part of the year, and wondering how many customers are giving up because they can't check out.
