Hello Etsy Community,
I am new to Etsy and have only had my shop up for a month now, but I haven't made any sales yet. If anyone has the time to review my shop or give me some pointers on what has helped them achieve a second income from Etsy, I would love to hear it.
Thank you,
Angelnette
Not getting sales is not a technical issue.
There are millions of Print on Demand shops selling similar items, so temper your expectations for sales. You only have 5 items among millions.
Your shop is unfinished, which means it ranks poorly in search results (no Shop Icon, Banner, Avatar, Announcement, or Shop Sections).
Titles are too short and not descriptive enough (example: "Tote Bag (AOP)" which tells me literally nothing about the product - size, color, shape, materials, what the print is, what the intended use is).
The description is a lazy copy/paste straight from the POD company meant to sell their service TO YOU, not for you to sell a finished product to customers! Example: "Create a beautiful, original design, and we'll print them on these cups in picture-perfect quality." This ranks very poorly in search because it is identical content to millions of other listings.
There NO tags on the listing I looked at, which means you're missing 13 opportunities to be found in search.
If you want sales, you will have to take the time to learn how the search engine works, learn how to make effective titles and tags, write your own descriptions, and market your own items. Etsy will do none of this for you. The more actual work you do, the more likely you are to succeed.
Start here:
@SHATYR: In addition to the excellent advice from @PlatypusDream and despite the claims of many POD "gurus", you need to initially drive your own traffic and sales so that the algorithm learns that people want what you are selling.
If you are able to, you should post your request in a more appropriate forum such as https://community.etsy.com/t5/Shop-Critiques/bd-p/shop-critiques?ref=gnav
