Buyers unable to see private listings

I've got two customers who cannot see the private listings for custom orders I've sent them.

They appear on my messages, but not on theirs. I also sent direct links to them and it just takes them to my main shop page.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Don't know if this applies to your situation, but there have been reports that some links (i.e. Share And Save) do not work properly in the app and go to the shop home page rather than the listing.

It is a lot easier to just make a regular listing and put "Reserved for <enter initials, name, etc.)"  ... this way there are no Etsy glitches that seem to happen most often with private listings.  And you can edit these regular listings as often as necessary to ensure they are perfect before sending the link to your buyers.  This is not possible with private listings, and as others have found, the shipping details in private listings are not correctly working or showing at all. Once you copy your private listings into a regular listing, then send THAT new url link to your buyers, which should send them directly to the listing and not to just your shopfront.  Hope this helps!

@CuriousOwlShop -- Another idea ... add a "Custom Order" category to your shop sections and put the private or regular listings there ... it makes it easier for your buyers to find their own special listing without having to hunt your entire shop.

I had a customer who couldn't see her custom listing in the app, and clicking the link I gave her in messages just took her to my storefront.  She had to use the browser to find the listing.

Yes!  One of my customers was able to only see it on the desk top Etsy version.  I have another customer who was able to see it in the phone app but only after I copied and pasted the link.  She tried to complete purchase but it won’t.  What’s happening?!
