Appeal Ignored – Handmade Listings Removed Without Cause – Need Help (Case #19631925)

Hi everyone,

I’m really frustrated and need help. Nearly two weeks ago, Etsy removed several of my handmade bracelet listings, claiming they weren’t handmade. I immediately submitted an appeal and provided full proof—photos of my workspace, tools, process, and materials. But I’ve received no response at all.

I also contacted Etsy Support via chat multiple times, and still nothing. In one reply, support mentioned that some of my bracelets could be found on the web. That may be because I also sell on Amazon Handmade, eBay, and my own Shopify store—but that doesn’t mean they’re not handmade.

Even if a bracelet design is similar to others found online, that’s not against Etsy’s rules—as long as the items are handmade, which mine are. I create all of my products myself and take all my own photos. I have never used stock or copied images from anywhere.

This situation is seriously hurting my shop’s visibility and sales. I’ve put so much time, effort, and money into building my business, and I feel like I’m being punished for doing things the right way.

My case number is 19631925. If anyone has gone through this or knows how to get real help or escalation, I’d be so grateful.

If there is no reply on that support ticket, then bump it up saying "I still need help".

DO NOT keep opening tickets. This will only cause Etsy to close your previous request and kick you to the back of the line again.

In the meantime, do a reverse image search on the photos from the listing that was removed. It may be that other people have stolen your images and are using them on Aliexpress or Temu.

@MarvelousNobleArt: You need to keep in mind that "violated Etsys creativity standards" can encompass much more than just if it is handmade by you personally. The violation can be anything from a 'prohibited' word in your title, description, or tags, to a non-conforming primary image, to being misclassified in core details, to intellectual property infringements, and lot in between.

While we can only speculate on what the trigger was that flagged your listing, one other thing to consider is that Etsy also wants a shop "to create a unique end-product".

You have listings that break etsy's creativity standards

You cannot call anything a healing bracelet, or claim it heals anything - medical claims are against etsys creativity standards
you also can't claim metaphysical properties

15 results came up, you cannot have that word in headings, listing description, or tags - change them, before more are taken down, and your shop shut
