Buyers can’t see custom listing in app

This has happened to me now three times, so I know it’s a problem on Etsy’s end because all three buyers have told me their app is up to date.

I create a custom listing in the messaging area, and do all of that work and I can see the link, and they don’t see the link in the message.

And then I have to re-create it as a regular listing and send them the link to that. It’s time consuming and, if the “create custom order” function doesn’t work, it should either be removed or fixed. It’s pretty aggravating.

I will submit a report to support to see if we can get this fixed.

@BlackMarketChicago: We don't use the custom listing "feature", so do not know if this applies here, but there are numerous reports that some URLs do not resolve properly in the app, notably anything in the 'Share And Save' format (shopname.Etsy.com).

It is not only the app.. I had a customer yesterday who was not getting the email with the notification that there even was a custom listing waiting for her.. I ended up creating the listing the old fashioned way instead.

I'm desperate to bump this up.
I've chatted up "Support" and did not get a response that made sense.
The support chat person told me we can create custom listings with the app, but our buyers have to use a browser to see them.
And those of us who use this feature, know this is untrue.
The feature is broken.
