A buyer has just told me that they can't update their feedback/review. That sounds really weird as all other platforms allow you to do that. But I think I have heard that before on Etsy. What is the reason for this?
I responded to a buyer review and contacted the buyer and offered to send out a new copy of their purchase, which I did. They were really happy - but told me that they couldn't update their review.
Why?
Once a review is responded to it is locked in and can't be changed.
Why? Is it a technical problem? Did Etsy just not think of that?
Oh - I did not respond to the review. I just contacted the buyer through Etsy messaging.
If the review hasn't been responded to it can be updated. The buyer might not know how to edit it? I may help to offer them simple step by step directions to do so from their profile orders area. If there's still a problem it may be a technical issue.
OK - what is the step by step directions?
Honestly, I haven't found a single item in your shop that does not violate copyright and trademarks.
Do you have licenses to sell Doctor Who, Baby Yoda, Taylor Swift and other items?
Yikes! I hadn't peeked at the shop. It may be most beneficial to learn about how Etsy works, what can be sold on Etsy, what can be sold legally.

You need to include your licensing information in the listings for all of the trademarked and copyrighted names and images so that no one thinks you are infringing on intellectual property rights or selling what could otherwise be considered by a buyer (or Etsy) as counterfeits. A buyer could open a case against you and get their money back and keep the item.
Including the licensing information will show that you are not selling those items illegally.
If you do not have permission, you should be much more concerned about the intellectual property owner showing up at your door with a court order to confiscate EVERYTHING that was used to create, manufacture, and or market the infringing items.
Not to mention the legal fees and fines that you could be liable for.
Also we will be able to assist you in the future as your fellow sellers are not supposed to help a shop that appears to be breaking the law or Etsy rules.
This shop has been in existence for barely 1-1/2 years and has well over 1,000 sales - all infringing and counterfeiting from Day 1.
That says it all.
Ruh-roh–RAGGY!!!
