Business Verification

We are on forced vacation mode because we are unable to verify that all our business info is correct.  There is no one to talk to.  We also had trouble signing in and someone (a bot?) who got back to us couldn't help with that issue and ignored the business verification problem.    BTW, an Apple strong password is too long to sign in on an iPhone 14.  Works on iPhone 15 Pro.  Makes no sense.

Re: Business Verification

See you are back from the forced holiday. How did you resolve?  Currently praying a non - bot replies this time to me to resolve my similar issue

Re: Business Verification

I see you're open for business now. What was the problem?

Re: Business Verification

I am having a similar problem. I have to add a VAT Taxpayer ID number, but I don't have one, as I don't have the turnover to need to be VAT registered.

Re: Business Verification

Leave the VAT Taxpayer ID box empty, and type your UTR or NiNo into the Additional Taxpayer ID box.

Re: Business Verification

What is my UTR or NiNo? I can't leave the VAT Taxpayer ID box empty as it wont let me save the page without it.

Re: Business Verification

Once you add a UTR or NiNo into the Additional Taxpayer ID box, you will not be required to add a VAT Taxpayer ID.

The UTR is the 10-digit ID number assigned to you when you registered as a business with the government.

NiNo is your National Insurance number.

You can add either - just select which one you want to add from the dropdown.

Re: Business Verification

You're very welcome. I did mine yesterday morning, which is why it's still fresh in my mind!

Re: Business Verification

We that seemed to work, but now it is asking me to 'Upload VAT Certificate' which I don't have.
