There's no e-mail for reaching Etsy anymore. However, buyers can still call Etsy for help. Your friend should check her spam email for a potential message about her account status.
Thank you for your information. Do you have the ETSY phone number? I hate that we can't reach them any more. I gave her the phone number I have and she said it wouldn't pick up, just a busy signal for about 4 hours she tried. Thanks again, I will tell her about the spam. Donna:)
I would really not know where to begin in a case like this. There is NO phone number one can call. After one goes thru all the breadcrumbs in help or thru your dashboard you can ask Etsy to call you back.
however, if her account is gone and she cannot access it then there is no way for her to contact them.
That said, I have never heard of a buyer only account being closed. Really strange.
If she has an alternate email she might try opening another account and see what happens. IF she does this she must list her other accounts in her profile.
Is her account open? Can she navigate within her account? Then she can contact support.
Try this link. Have her put in her phone number and they will call back.
No, it's not strange that a buyer account suddenly disappears. It happened to me and since you can't contact Etsy for help UNLESS you're inside an account, you're screwed.
