My store has been in vacation mode for a long time, I opened it again and I get this warning when replying to messages, I looked at the old threads and there is no solution ... I am writing in the ETSY SUPPORT area but no one is responding, is the ETSY Support team on strike?
Thank you for your answers, it is really pleasing to see those who can understand me, if I open a title for store criticism, I would agree 100% with what you say and your advice, but my problem is the Messaging problem. Someone is messaging me asking about a product and when I try to provide information about that product I get this error.[Bummer, your messages have been temporarily disabled. Please contact support to have them reactivated. Also, see the FAQ and Community Guidelines for more info about Messages.] You don't have to be selling to write a message, anyone who claims otherwise is talking nonsense. I did not bother anyone with Spam, on the contrary, my message box was empty. I wrote to the Etsy Support team I have not received an answer for about 3 days... Such late replies affect the sales potential and everything... Unfortunately, there is 24/7 support for those who are star sellers, I think this is not a fair behavior. Or at least I think other store owners should be treated selflessly.
Have you sent any messages to people who have favourited your items or shop?
@CatsWhiskersCurios No, I didn't, I know it's not the right thing to do. I just tried to answer someone who asked a product question. I guess you didn't read the text above. I said my message box was empty.
I did read what you wrote but you weren’t clear on that point. However, if you haven’t been spamming then the only thing you can do is keep replying to the same email saying you still need help. I agree Etsy’s support to sellers is appalling.
I believe the answer lies in the response from Etsy “contact Etsy support”. And in Etsy fashion, you may or may not hear back.
