I decided to write on this forum because of the issue I ran into since mid-February to early March.
I own two shops on Etsy and have been active on the platform since around 2013-2014. Since the beginning of this year, I decided to establish my own legal business, declaring all my income, expenses, and everything related to the Etsy shop. I opened a new bank account for the company I created to directly report all income, exactly as stated in the country's law.
Of course, after setting up the company, I had to change all the details on the Etsy shop and list the company name, address, company bank card, company administrator, and so on as the authorized person. Everything went smoothly and quickly when I made the changes on the main shop.
However, when I started to make changes on the second shop, specifically the section related to the bank account, they asked me to add the bank details and upload the document proving that I am the account holder (just like I did for the other shop). By mistake, when I uploaded the document, I selected the wrong photo, which prevented me from passing the validation. I messaged Etsy, explained the mistake I made, and asked for their help. The real problem is that after I input the bank account details (Bank name, SWIFT CODE, IBAN), the site gives me an error saying it didn't work.
I sent them photos, videos, and everything necessary to simplify the process and make myself understood. Unfortunately, even to this day, I am unable to confirm my bank account details. Despite dozens of messages, they have not been able to help with this glitch on their site or even provide an explanation.
I hope someone can help me to resolve this issue.
