I'm posting here because I'm extremely frustrated and don’t know what else to do. My bank account has been pending verification for several weeks now, and I’ve submitted the required document multiple times, including again last week. Despite this, there has been absolutely no update or confirmation—just the same prompt telling me to verify my bank account.
I’ve contacted Etsy support several times, and even this time, the only response received was to "wait a bit more" and contact again if nothing changes. But the issue is that nothing has changed at all in weeks. And now, my shop shows a countdown of 3 days until suspension.
Support previously mentioned that the review should take 5–7 business days. It’s now well past that. I’ve already made 6 sales, and my shop is still not verified. I’ve never been told if there’s an issue with the document I submitted, nor have I received any kind of feedback.
At this point, it feels like I’m being completely ignored. Etsy support hasn’t resolved the issue, and now my shop is at risk of being suspended through no fault of my own.
Has anyone else gone through something similar or found a way to escalate this? I really love running my shop, but this situation is becoming discouraging.
Did you check your bank account for the small Etsy deposit?
Did you check your bank for the small deposit Etsy places in your bank account? You need to take that amount and then place it in the bank account area of the shop payment account.
Did Etsy request a bank statement from you? Did the bank statement names match? Your personal name and the bank name plus the address of the bank? Personal name used on ID must match name used for bank account. Bank account name used has to match the name used on the bank statement. If there are any special diacritics or symbols that can create a slow down.
Each time you send in a request, you are put at the back of the line. Use one email and reply back that you still need help. Do not keep opening new ones.
