I got a really bad review from a customer. The person said that there was no valid tracking, there was. They also said it didn't arrive - the tracking said it did. I originally wrote a response. I later wanted to update the response but there was no option to edit the response. So I thought I could just delete my response and create a new response. NOPE. Why on Earth does this happen? Everywhere else on the internet you can edit your response. Why not Etsy?

Your buyer probably realised that you were selling illegal counterfeits and that they could get a refund and keep the item.
Did I miss something here? Why are you saying they’re selling illegal things?
@DWCSTUFF You have some stuff in your shop with the same problem as the OP's shop which if you will notice is no longer here.
Maybe take a hint.
You only get one chance to respond. You can't edit it, only delete, as you have found. No way around it unfortunately.
I think not being able to reply to a review may be less of an issue than the copyright violations on your listings - Dr Who, Taylor Swift, Disney, Vampire Diaries - Lionesses...every listing seems to breach copyright.
@MugginsUK Expect that sort of thing to happen more and more. You have no protection when you are selling illegal items.
I thought I spotted one listing that was okay - turned out it wasn't.
I think this might be the first shop I've seen where every single listing is illegal. That's quite an achievement

That was quick the shop is already gone.
@MondayMoonDesign I always get caught by these old threads, too. Etsy really needs to do something about making the OP dates more clear. @DWCSTUFF this is a zombie thread from over a year ago. The OP no longer has an Etsy shop. The good news is that you can always start a new thread if you have any questions : )
Yes, I agree @DivineCrossings .
Ideally, these old threads should be READ ONLY.
