OH and when I messaged them, I kept getting "message not sent"
then, I hit resend and it sent it to them 3 times
customer is not happy with etsy right now- they are not upset with me- but they are frustrated
$300 order as well
Try this: Have her remove the listing from her shopping cart. Clear the page. Then try again. Sometimes things get stuck and this unsticks them.

I meant to say "buyer" jesh, I am so frustrated I can't type! LOL
how did you get a sale from a buyer that could't pay ... the sales don't show until the buyer had completed the transaction. and how does that have anything to do with Etsy?
or you got the sale but with a payment pending while waiting for the payment processor ... and the payment processor said 'nope' because of a problem with the credit card used or payment account used? That has nothing to do with Etsy either. Etsy is just a middleman when it comes to determining if payments go through.
Because they messaged me- it is a reserved listing- she is trying to pay and has been trying for about 15 minutes
she is a long term customer- she told me she can't pay that is how I know-
It has everything to do with etsy that is where they are trying to buy

Why! Why can't Etsy spend the time fixing the myraid of glitches that plague this forum rather than take away something like the old listing, something that worked so well for all of us. For the life of me, I just can't understand their thinking.
I agree- we all work so hard and they just makes things harder!
I love etsy, I just wish they would prioritize what is important and focus on the seller experience- without sellers they would not have a business-
I shake my head all the time wondering what they are thinking!
They were finally able to complete the transaction-
I am currently having the same issue. 5 days of messaging with no help. Removing and adding the item would not help. Getting this from multiple buyers for different items. It's crazy. They get an error message via Etsy and they can't place the purchase for Etsy to see the error. With the millions that Etsy makes through sellers, would be wonderful if they could actually help the sellers with technical issues. It's not a between buyer and seller problem. Have one person to help me but because it is only via email, have to wait forever for assistance. If I figure out what it is, I will post if for others to see. Good Luck
