Returned deposit today? After several years with the same bank? And my credit card on file is not expired or anything. NOW WHAT Etsy? Anyone else having this problem?
I had the deposit, return, and deposit. And then it deposited today in my bank account. How odd! Mine usually deposits the next day. I'm not going to lie, I hope that's a new thing.
eBay has recently started offering an "instant payout" to a debit card (at a cost of 1.5% of the amount). Maybe your same-day deposit was part of a test ... to be followed by an email overnight or tomorrow asking if you liked that and here's how to make it happen again!
You have to pay a % to get your money early. (same week instead of monthly)
I refused, but some of my husbands colleagues did not, thought it was wonderful.
Until I pointed out at the end of the financial year they had paid the contractor they worked for over 3000 euros that year to get the money they had worked so hard for that year earlier.
Omg yes! Same here, but mine shows it was sent through again, however it did not reach my bank yet, was totally expecting it today, since my item sold on Friday! Geezus ! Hops it hits tomorrow

Earlier today (April 15), some deposits that were issued to US-based sellers were reversed due to an issue with our payments partner; this issue is resolved and deposits are on their way to impacted sellers. oh honey, no contest, I get the award... I called my bank and THEN had a very polite but completely useless chat with Etsy before coming to the forums.
This happened to me too. I called about 1 of my shops, Etsy telling me it was probably a glitch with my bank. After looking at my 2 nd shop, this one was resent so I used Etsy’s chat and this guy kept telling me to check with my bank. I explained how my other shop had the deposit resent but he kept telling me to check with my bank. Later in the day I saw it was resent and now found this thread.
The same thing happened to me. Mine was sent to my bank account a second time, but still hasn't gone through. I am wondering if it is just going to keep bouncing back and forth.
Did you have any sales or print postage before it was returned. I printed a bunch of postage after my initial deposit and then it returned and resent it with the new balance. So annoying.
The same thing happened to me but my shop account balance seems to have increased by the amount my deposit was reduced. Unsurprisingly these "mistakes" always work out in Etsy's favor since they get to keep my money a little longer now. And per usual, I got no notice from Etsy (had to search info in forums), no explanation, no apology. Just s*ck it, I guess.

Me, too. Was hoping it was a glitch because I had recently updated my account info and was a bit concerned when I saw the multiple deposit e-mails and the return in my Etsy payment account.
Same here. Etsy gave my money and then took it. Apparently its on its way again. Any big sellers on here with over a 10k deposit. Curious if they played games with everyone.
My Monday deposit was available in my bank account on Monday. Usually it doesn't show up in my bank account until Tuesday. That was a nice surprise! I guess I wasn't one of the ones whose deposit bounced back.
