Another forced vacation mode

Dear Etsy Team,

As an Etsy seller based in India, I'm writing to express my deep disappointment with the level of customer service I've received over the past year, particularly since the introduction of Etsy Payments in India. My experience has been far from the standard I would expect from a global platform like yours.

Recently, my shop was inexplicably placed on vacation mode without any prior notification or subsequent explanation. Despite reaching out to Etsy support months ago, I've received only a generic response stating, "Etsy is a Global company that must comply with Global standards that need us to review certain accounts by the regulator's instructions. We are working to be faster in those reviews to avoid any issues."

While I understand the need for regulatory compliance, this vague and delayed response does little to address the significant disruption and frustration this has caused. Frankly, it feels dismissive and disrespectful to sellers like myself who contribute to Etsy's success. A global company with your reach and resources should surely be able to offer more transparent and timely communication, especially when a seller's livelihood is at stake. I sincerely hope Etsy will take this feedback seriously and make substantial improvements to its customer service, particularly for international sellers.
